1. We reconstruct the wig to fit the specific dimensions of the client's head. By using the measurements you supply, we are able to give you a custom fit. This hand sewing can take a technician up to one full-day. 90% of our clientele require some form of cap modification.

2. Most wigs come to us with a quantity of short fuzzie hairs (perma tease) at the base of the hair shaft. Most of our clients prefer a more natural casual look and the perma tease has to be removed. This "process" takes approximately 2 hours per wig.
3. We cut, thin and shape the fiber to suit you! Cutting a wig is quite different than cutting a person's own hair. We have spent over 35 years perfecting the techniques necessary to accommodate all different types of hair styles.
4. We are able to create a small flattering look for our seniors who are accustomed to going to a beauty salon for a perm look. Perming a wig takes much time and skill. They finally can have what they want from a wig and you can too!
5. In order to eliminate the "wiggy look", the technician must carefully press 1/4" sections throughout the root area of the wig. Painstaking attention to detail is needed during this process. One section left undone would give the unsightly look of a cowlick.
6. Controlled heat from a curling iron is applied to isolated areas when a client requests minor changes in the hair style. (This should only be performed by the educated professional. Incorrect use of a curling iron produces irreversible damage to the fiber.)
7. We relax the fiber small sections at a time. This gives us the ability to remold the fiber. This must be done for most styles. Relaxing the fiber is very time consuming but produces incredible results. After redirecting the fiber, the wig is processed in a controlled heat environment for 2-5 hours. Many of the above techniques are used in conjunction with one and another. These processes enable us to give you the most lifelike and comfortable units available in the United States today.
